The fact that us winning the double probably won't mean much to a lot of fans is quite sad as I believe it should be seen as an achievement (should we do it).

I'd prefer we support the team and the manager (while he's employed here) and be happy when we win games as well as trophies.

There is like an internet culture where wee myths grow and all the fan boys repeat the myths and stick to the same narrative. The latest that has them all on the same page is "spoilt fans from MON days". I dont know where this started but a lot of people are repeating it on here these days. Loads of these wee defense mechanisms spring up when you say something that could be considered critical of current policy. I am sure these ideas begin organically rather than being a plant but when numerous internet fans are repeating them ad nauseam does it really matter?

The insinuation is that I am faithful through and through and you are not. I am better than you and so on. I never seen Celtic win a title until I was a teenager so that is hardly spoilt. Look at King of Kings post from a few days ago. It should be stuck onto the header of this website for all to read. When you actually think about the absurdity of it ye could nearly laugh, internet lawwell fans or whatever ye call them attacking other fans for having the nerve for casting a critical eye and asking why aren't we doing better.

Were spoilt because we are not happy with struggling to beat the little guys. We should be happy beating Morton and EK in the cup and being ahead of Aberdeen in the league. Why are people getting hung up because we lose to Molde, Malmo Maribor and Legia at home.

 

I can assure you I do not follow an existing narrative and in fact I have disagreed with both of those posters on quite a few issues in the past. Trolling and attacking me is all part of it too though as it diverts it away. I should learn to stop biting.

I actually do not and I think this is why I receive all the attention from people like you. Lashing out at independent thought is perfectly natural if the person pointing out your sheep tendencies (not the team) has no intention of sugar coating it for you. I'll not spoon feed anyone. It's up to you to do your own thinking.
