Deila is coming with a big reputation as the next big thing.

 

Think you might be right mate. As has been said, there is actually no evidence supporting the idea that we offered the job to anyone else. Once this came out we moved quickly and I really think the board has conducted their business brilliantly here.

 

I believed this since he was first mentioned. I do not think we had any interest in the usual suspects.

It might have been mutual, I know Johan has been missing his family, and if he knew Lennon was leaving a month or two later then he might have quite happily left early.

 

I know it's a bit left-field, but what if we approached Keane as Deila's no2 and wanted him to do it full time, no ROI post?

I'm happy with this.

Was never in a million years my first pick but his background speaks for itself. Won the Norwegian league with something like a tenth of Rosenborg's wealth and his oldest player was 23. Very impressive track record and he specializes in playing attacking football in a preferred 4-3-3 formation much rather this than a Moyes with his dreary 4-5-1 look for a draw tactics.

Only hope now the rumors of John Collins as assistant will too come to light.
