Deila was earmarked as Neil Lennons No. 2

Deila was being lined up as Neil Lennon's No. 2

The plot thickens, why did Lennon leave? It looked like he was 100% behind Keane getting the job. Although did say nice things about Deila it's all very strange.

I don't think the league will be as straight forward this year. He needs our full support and backing though. We need to give this guy time.

I've seen Raw-knee Dey-la, which is more or less correct.

With so many teams missing it may come down to our games against aberdeen and dun untd.
They may come close just because there is less teams to take points off them.

Welcome to Celtic Ronny, S happy the board have got a man in charge now who is willing to give youth a chance and play the way the fans expect us to. Plus hes very good at getting best out of players so the likes of pukki, balde, watt, rogic, derk, henderson, mcgeogh, could be like new singings for us. Exciting times ahead guys, I just hope brown and co get behind his ideas and playing mentality.
if they do we will have a very special team to watch.

i read somewhere that he was being lined up as a replacement for when lennon eventually left, and this is why mjallby decided to leave. neils comments add a bit of weight to that....bring him in as number 2, learn about the players, fans, club and then slot right in as number 1 when neil left

im starting to think this guy was always our number 1 target

Welcome big man! Really excited about what this means for the future of Celtic. It won't be easy, europe is by no means a shoe-in and neither should we consider the league as such, but if we all get behind him then I'm confident we'll have some great times ahead.
