    Leigh is a perfect example of someone who was a bit of a nutter/ potential waster that screwed the head and worked to master his trade.

    Wonder what the likes of Riordan could have done here had he knuckled down and done the same.

    He'll go from strength to strength and while he won't be a world beater or make too much of an impact in Europe (hopefully proves me wrong) he should become one of the most prolific goal scorers domestically in the last 20 years. I think he'll be here in 5 years time.

    We forget too he scored against Astra last season as well, a header I think that was disallowed for a foul even though it was never a foul so he really has 5 European goals in his last 12 games(only started 6 of them).

    Makes it so much better that you can tell how much he wanted to make it work here, I felt like he really wanted us to accept him. One of the few players who appreciate playing for us
