Took his goal well and set up Armstrong well for his first.

Has to start on Wednesday. More match fit and scoring goals and setting them up.

    No brainer really.

Probably means Ciftci will start now.

His only downfall today. The ball didn't stick to him when played long up to him.
But he worked hard and took his goal well.
Really hope Ronny play 4-4-2 soon.

Another goal today should surely secure his starting slot for midweek.

Come on Ronny, give him a chance in a big game.

Yeah, or why not choose someone who hasn't even impressed in small games Ronny? :smiley-laughing002:

I would play him against Malmo but I wouldn't begrudge Ronny for not doing so. He's played in big games before, against Inter both home and away. He was in good form then supposedly and he didn't do a single thing in these games. I honestly can't remember him doing anything apart from running around a bit and miss controlling the ball.

I hope he starts and I hope he takes his chance, but I'd be lying if I said I was confident in him to deliver.

Edit: My mistake he played the first leg only

I'd bet good money on Cifti starting v Malmo. Although Griffiths deserves to get the nod.

Obviously just to boost his confidence.

You really believe that Deila rates Griffiths as a better finisher than Aguero or Suarez etc.?

He's hardly gonna say, "He's kinda unreliable, but he's the best we've got, and at least the ball does end up in the back of the net every now and then." :56:

Quite sure he means the best finisher he's ever seen in person, the same way he said Gordon was the best keeper he'd ever seen.

Can see where Ronny is coming from, can score from anywhere in the box, out of the box etc

    Exactly!:smiley-laughing002:

So you believe he thinks Griffiths is a better finisher than those two, aye? Course he * doesn't.

I wouldn't change my tune because it's not true. I think you'll find I've said plenty of times on here that I was never a huge fan of Hooper and he's overrated by many. But he's still far better than Griffiths.

In that case then it's not a massive compliment. He's spent his entire career in Norway beforehand.
