No one song belongs to one football club. YNWA is more of a big deal to Liverpool. They sing it at least twice per match. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Hillsborough as well.

 

The Rangers version is actually a better one.

Ive always found it funny how a lot of hun songs are copied from Rebel songs tunes. "* * terrorist *, we are the peepo, ftp, uda, rfc, *..... nice songs yous have made though we're copying them"

Gerry Marsden of Gerry & the Pacemakers sang the original and Marsden is a Liverpool supporter.
He did however say in an interview that although Liverpool supporters sang it first that Celtic supporters sing it best.

 

The earliest recording of Liverpool singing YNWA is 1964 and earliest of Celtic is 1970.

They never though but as you say it doesnt really matter.

The fans who sat up the back of the South West Corner done the Huddle at games before the Green Brigade were even formed probably about 2006 and 2007. I forgot their name again, someone just told me on here about a week ago. There was only about 15-20 of them as well.

 

this is just my opinion but i think it comes down to arrogance from some people thinking celtic, started everything i'm starting to see more and more now.
