Already implied that the IRA made a habit of shooting unarmed civilians, with less than 2 minutes gone.

Always going to be the way. Panorama is pitiful nowadays ( whatever the subject.) Just a joke.

I'm waiting for the quote I read earlier where one of these * claimed they helped bring about the ceasefire.

I was a bit confused by the headline they ran with this story on the news earlier.

"A secret British Army unit admits to killing unarmed Irish civilians... in order to stem the threat of the IRA."

    Eh??? :43:

It might have been paraphrasing what the soldiers said.

It was said before the programme that their identities were disguised, so I'd presumed the voices were dubbed, although I will say it was very well done if that is the case.

Anyway, I'm sure some will laud them as heroes, apparently one of them believed they were hunting 'babykillers' :47:

Agreed mate. Absolutely makes your blood boil, swear to *, my heads actually pounding just now after watching that.

We all knew for a fact but seeing the jovial and absolutely remorseless way they were going on about murdering innocent people and the fact you know there is going to be absolutely know backlash from it makes you beyond angry.

And that is just a tiny, tiny part of it. It doesn't get into all the rest of the murder and abuse the army dished out.

And then you hear sycophantic arseholes over here lauding them as heros? Heros!? * really. They're some of the most scummy people ever to walk on this earth and it makes me wish I was believer so I know that they would * burn in * for there deeds.

Did you see the Priest talking about coming home and realising that he'd been kneeling in that mans blood? Or the 18 year old shot for no reason? A full life robbed because these murderous arseholes were roaming the streets, streets they have no * right to roam in the first place.

    * me man... swear to *.

There's been a bit of a spike recently but in general the streets do feel so much safer now than they did 10-15 years ago.Young teams and the constant running battles you used to see regularly seem to be almost a thing of the past. It's one thing I think the Scottish government (and community workers) deserve massive credit for.

Massive changes no doubt about that. Every weekend running battles had been the norm and through the week during holidays etc. Cought up in it a few times heading back from work etc, The whole phase has been basically eradicated back then about 20 of the young team would be hanging about the shop all day/Night or a close/tenement steaming waiting for a gang fight it’s basically non existent now. Back then Glasgow was the knife crime capital of Europe. As I said massive difference now and it’s clear to see yes may not be perfect but the change is noticeable
