More diving cheating antics from United yesterday. Shameful.

Also funny how all the displays are when Bartha come to town as well. Sycophantic pish.
What about when Motherwell or Kilmarnock come to town?

    They've been banned.

Only our fanbase could find problems with getting on well with another club.

There's getting on well (St Pauli as example) then there is the blatant * kissing.
Having Bartha players pose in our trophy room with our shirt, getting them to say such nice things about our club (except when we beat them, then they slagged us off - forget that do you? Specially the tax dodger Messi) and these displays for Bartha stink of try-hard wankiness.

If i wasn't such a cynic i wouldn't say we are trying to attach ourselves to them in their period of greatness to make ourselves relevant.

Who were you supporting last Tuesday? :87:

There is no Barca wankfest at Celtic. We get on well with their fans and that's all this relationship is about really. I think it's a good thing that there's a group of fans that feel so welcomed in Glasgow and it's great to see that courtesy returned to our own fans when we play in Barcelona.

There is a general appreciation of Barcelona in the footballing world that peaked under Pep. That goes with the territory of being one of the all time great sides, and for many the best ever. If you're a football fan it's hard not to admire the fact they've assembled one of the greatest sides ever with a core of players mainly from their youth academy.

Don't get me wrong they have some fantastic footballers, some of the greatest ever.
But do we as a club have to make a special effort, a song & dance everytime they come to town?
Will we have Ajax players eulogising about our great club? Have them all over our website/Facebook page/match programmes/official club magazine gurning like fannies in our trophy room holding our shirt. Would we have Aberdeen players do the same? Will we have 60,000 pieces of plastic sheet carefully dotted around the stadium when Hibs come to town?
    No. Didn't think so.

It's nothing more than "Aw look. The greatest team ever love us. Look at us everybody, ain't we special"?

    :56: What a bitter post.

Messi said we got lucky which we did really. They beat us and we haven't "slagged" them in anyway?:56:

Not even going to bother answering your last question.

It does seem abit at much at times, put it this way if we had bayern munichs teams or man citys, madrid etc etc i dont think this 'relationship' would be quite so special, i doubt we would care so much actually about this link, nor would they.
