I personally loved Rangers Tax Case, it had a level of analysis and debate that was fantastic. It was dealing with a complex and YAWN dull tax scheme. But the humour, camaraderie and insight was a total joy.
There is some fantastic humour on this site, there are some great posters, like Random and Sween whose posts are usually excellent. (except Sween has gone a bit neg head about the team of late)
Don't always agree with all the views of "the clique", some is nonsense, but most of the time there is good humour.

Keep the posts sensible please and avoid mocking perceived or real cliques. This is everyone's chance to voice their opinion on how CC threads in particular are seen and debated.

There isn't a leader per se, more of a messiah like figure.

You say the wrong thing on here and you get jumped on and it tends to be the same posters that stick together on things.
Not only do you get jumped on but there is name calling and abuse if you go near some topics.
You get it in life so there is no reason it should not be on here.
There is more than one clique.

Might as well give my tuppence worth.

Regularly and not just in Celtic chat, members will pounce on another member because they have a different opinion or outlook, I'm not talking about folk who are out to get a reaction, just normal members who don't share the same views....they end up being pounded upon and the spotlight and thumb screws come out.

There are also members who can't accept a different opinion and will try bat the person down and end up telling them to * off....or something similar.....normally preceded by an aggressive air to their posts.

Then there is the mocking of members....very few members deserve that.

This all contributes to putting some members off of posting or they will back out of the thread.....no on should feel intimidated on here.

I think a lot of people, wrongly, feel victimesed when a lot of people disagree with them as well though. It's not always a case of being 'pounced upon' a lot of it is a case where a lot if people just plainly disagree.

It's not just that Dev....like I said....it's like the spotlight gets turned on and the thumb screws come out...and members try to beat them into submission.

It doesn't happen all the time....but it is a regular occurrence

I agree with that as well, it happens but I also think what I just said. A lot of the time people act the victim when it's simply a disagreement.

I assume there is an ignore function on this site? If so, then members who dont like what others say can use it. Its that simple tbh.

Yeah...agreed....that's not a problem....the problem is when it is like I said, its intimidation and does put members off posting.

Probably surprise you but I feel intimidated on here at times....or at least I refrain from posting because I know how it will end up.....I shouldn't feel like that

It's the same as every other forum. There are lot of people who don't like others not sharing their opinion.
