Alright troops, I see there hasn't been a thread about this match put up yet so I thought I would get us underway and try to move focus onto the second leg.

We need to think positive, think back to the match against sporting in the Tommy Burns era when we went down 2 nil away from home (lucky it could have been 5) and in the return leg at celtic park we won 5 nil and this team are no Sporting!

If we can beat Elfsborg 1 nil who are a better tactically astute team than this lot we can get a couple. It won't be easy but we can do it!

    Hail Hail

If we keep it tight at the back we will score at some point and then they will crumble desperately

    Forster
    Matthews Ambrose Mulgrew Izzy
    Brown Kayal Ledley
    Commons Stokes Derk

Instruct Derk and Kris to stay narrow and allow Izzy and Matthews to bomb forward into space, flood their box, let Ledley off the leash to get into the box to support and just keep throwing balls in there, wave after wave of attack accompanied with a noise that Shakter have never heard before.

    4-0 Celtic.

They will play one up front, 3 centre backs should be more than enough to cover that defensively. Brown and Ledley to watch out for any midfield runners. The rest, go for the * throat.

Harsh on Izzy but Boerrigter is a goal threat.

That for me, is the team that would see us through to the group stages. But i doubt Lenny will play that lineup.

I know, 3 centre backs cery comfortable on the ball as well. Allows our team to push higher up the pitch. We pressure their box, we will win.

Im not a fan of Stokes, but he should take his chance to prove that he can score in important games, and Balde should be in there because you just dont get dropped after that performance vs Liverpool imo. Forrest and Kayal has nothing to do in the starting eleven, both are garbage just now.

This is where i should ask this question rather than the last game thread . IF celtic go out would you boo them ? Now im not saying it should happen or that i will do it just rather wondering how the fans would react

Maybe hide behind it and boo . A dont like booing them but i have found myself wanting to boo before i think it would depend on how we played next week if the players gave there all and where unlucky i dont think people would boo but if they play * and get beat i would probably boo to be honest

Anybody that thinks the players wont be giving 100% next week is off their head.

This is the biggest game in their season as well, all players will be * pumped up for this.

If we go out it wont be for lack of effort.

Bit harsh on balde who I thinks deserves a chance but I just feel that wee tony will run all night chasing and pressing to get the ball back imo

we have to keep the ball on the deck and play around them at pace none of the hoofing the ball up the park which plays to their strengths
