Think I'm right in saying the 5mil plus for the Juventus game alone is not included as its year ending 2012?

Aye well, that 5mil will bump up the year ending figure!:50:

Isn't this just last years take ins? Doesn't our money from the champions league get taking into account as of next year if you get me? Like last year the annual report says we had a debt of 7 million but we had just sold ki aand knew the sale of ki would sort that

Always under impression that CL money isnt paid out till after the competition ends, prize money anyway. So added profit there.
    Overall great reading.

I wonder what's caused our operating expenses to increase so much?

I thought that might be to do with having to pay money up front for puting on CL games........i.e. Policing etc ?

You know exactly how this is going to be spun in tonights phone ins
I can hear Keek and Deek now

    1. "Yes well it's all very well for Celtic but what about all the rest"?

    2. "No one else in Scottish football is doing very well and it's a reflection of things to come"

    3. "It's going to remain a one horse race so long as Rangers are in the 3rd division"

Probably more games = more players/staff bonuses, more games means more security police etc.

Operating costs will have increased due to extra matches in the CL qualifiers and group stages. Players win bonus's. Travel costs for the team in Europe and any player wage increases, ie better contract offers. Probabaly a host of other expenses also but as has been said once the CL & TV money comes in at the end of the season we'll still be showing a very healthy set of figures.

Just fantastic! I have not known a better time as a Celtic supporter! Proud of Neil Lennon and his team, backroom staff, the board and most importantly our club!

    Keep it up!

    Does...

...mean we were taxed nearly 15m? Or that our profits were to that estimated amount?
