Rogne, Izzy, Samaras, Hooper, Forrest are all doubts.

Almost certain that Izzy and Rogne won't play. Unsure about the rest.

Assuming Rogne, Izaguirre and Forrest are all definitely out injured while Brown, Samaras and Hooper will just make it, with a tinge of regret, this would be my starting 11 and subs:

    (4-3-2-1)

    1 GK Fraser Forster

    23 RB Mikael Lustig
    4 CB Efe Ambrose
    6 CB Kelvin Wilson
    21 LB Charlie Mulgrew

    8 RCM Scott Brown
    67 CDM Victor Wanyama
    16 LCM Joe Ledley

    15 RF Kris Commons
    9 LF Georgios Samaras

    88 CF Gary Hooper

    7 Subs
    24 Zaluska G
    2 Matthews D
    43 Chalmers D
    33 Kayal M
    20 McCourt M
    7 Miku S
    32 Watt S

Initially ruled out but Piqué is training today in hopes of being fit for Wednesday

Update: Given medical clearance so I expect him to start, likely alongside Mascherano

Puyol (Elbow) & Thiago (Knee) worked out individually

Izzy is injured so is rogne hooper brown forrest are doubts
"We are just hoping we can get some players fit," Lennon revealed. "Emilio Izaguirre has a hamstring strain and Thomas Rogne went off with a calf injury.
"Gary Hooper, James Forrest and Georgios Samaras are all doubts and we will have to see how Scott Brown is. We are starting to pick up some niggles and injuries which is disrupting the flow of the squad at the minute."

i really hope we put up another good performance... sadly , i just cant see it .

it would take another exceptional performance from every single man in hoops and a good bit of luck.

i hope the atmosphere will be something we can show the world and be proud of no matter what happens

Just for anyone ho hasn't looked in the GB thread.

Green Brigade: Important Info re: 125th anniversary display

On the 7th of November, 125 years and one day from Celtic’s founding meeting in St Mary’s in the Calton, we take on Barcelona in the Champions League.

With brilliant financial backing from the Celtic support, we have organised a fantastic full-stadium display to mark the occasion and celebrate our incredible history and we need EVERY fan to play their part in making it a success. For that to happen, we need everyone to make a big effort to get in early and to follow these instructions.

Do NOT raise the material at your seat during You’ll Never Walk Alone. Instead, wait for the cue from the Green Brigade corner at section 111 to do so before the teams come out. With your continued support we can, 125 years on from the founding of our club, continue to show the world just what the great Celtic support can do.

Anyone able to weigh in on what sort of manager Lennon is in terms of risk taking?...If there will be depth issues for the match and they cannot duplicate the same back 4 along with no Samaras, is he one to pull surprises or is he more likely to stick to the gameplan that has worked before?

Seems great at motivating his players as they had the perfect combination of attitude, desire, discipline & performance in the first leg

He won't take many risks for this game I reckon. It will be a similar performance/formation as the game in the Camp Nou. We will, hopefully, create a couple more chances since we are at home but, as with the majority of games involving Barca, they will have the majority of possession/chances!

I think Samaras will start, Lennon said last week he should be available!

Bad day at the office yesterday but the guys had barca in mind, really hope these injures clear but Lennon can't risk 80% players as every man will need 100% of everything in there locker. We can beat them I'm sure of it! Show respect but not to much. They to have been doing there homework so we should surprise them for 10 15 min each half and totally go for it. Hyped up is not the word.:)☺ come on Celtic this would make my year!!!:52:
