    I'm not picky.
Definitely an excellent series, aye, and about time the TV had something decent to watch again instead of the usual reality TV pish that the stations keep churning out as well.

Thinking of buying The Walking Dead on Blu-Ray as well. A wee Christmas treat for myself :icon_mrgreen:

Think i've seen every episode of the Sopranos. But never the hole way through. Me and my mate would just put random episodes on when we were younger and used to get stoned. Excellent show:50:

Out of curiosity, has anyone here tried watching the sopranos and didn't like it? I gave the first season to my mate for a loan and he gave it back to me after three episodes, said he couldn't get into it

That happened to me with The Wire, everyone gave it rave reviews but i just couldn't take to it for some reason.

Surprising to see how many of you are saying North American shows. As a North American, most of my favourites are British.

    Fawlty Towers
    Father Ted
    Mr. Bean

...and of course, the comedic genius of Larry David:

    Curb Your Enthusiasm
    Seinfeld

Think a few people on here might contest that one!

British shows tend to be short and sweet where series' only run for 6 or 7 episodes. The Office ran for the perfect length of time and has therefore remained a perfect show. It infuriates me when people call the American one "The Office" and the original one "The Office UK". Apart from that, The Thick Of It wrapped up its fourth and final season just there. Only Peep Show has gone on a significant length of time and maintained its level of genius. Those are the only three British shows I can think of that match up with the comedy genius of Seinfeld, Curb, Arrested Development etc. at least in my lifetime.

Battlestar Galactica started out super, then it swerved away from its science fiction roots and got bogged down in religion and prophecy and turned to *, the last series (especially the final episode) was mince.

First 4 seasons were absolutely superb, season 5 was not so good.

Excellent show, going by the new trailers the gang is going up against Republicans.

Will wait and see how Republicans are portrayed in the new series.
