Hope yous can all stick to your diets/routines.
Don't give up after 2 months because your not seeing any improvements.
Wont happen over night, stick it out and in the end it will be worth it!

    But hey, its your life.

Going out for first run in 7 weeks. Had fluid on my knee playing football. * *. Luckily, only missed one game due to weather and a winter break. Cant say Im looking forward to it, only 3miles or so, but still hard to get motivated.

Once into it though its fine. It then becomes a habit. 2/3 times a week soon gets the fitness up.

And eat less. Simple. There's no easy way. Its pure will power. Crisps and chocolate and fizzy drinks are * for putting weight on. Dont buy them. :50:

I'm stoked about not having to bother about shifting the pounds anymore, last years new years resolution worked a treat for me, lost 7 st 8 lbs over the course of 47 weeks.

Still have to exercise, mind, but that's no bother as I enjoy it.

Hope all of you achieve what you want to.

    * got into work this morning and weighed myself, 8lbs put on since the 23rd lol

I seem to gain weight so easily but can't get past 180lbs when losing it.

ah well need to switch it up going to start a 12 week plan I have put together.

Out of curiosity what gyms are you folk with?

Cut out carbohydrates (rice, bread, pasta, tatties etc) and sugar (includng sugary fruit) and stick to protein (meat, fish, eggs, low fat dairy etc) and lower carb veg. You almost completely stop getting hunger pangs, you rarely feel like earing and weight totally falls off you.

Still, I would rather be a big guy (6ft 3, 14-15 stone) who needs to lose a stone or two than one of those really scrawny wee guys who weighs about 8 stone and cant ever put any weight or muscle mass on.

Starts on Monday for me, no real routine to it, just stop eating sweets, junk food, drinking fizzy juice etc.. Also bought Zumba for the missus for Xmas on the Wii so we're going to do a couple hours of that daily, add that to football training and hopefully it makes a difference.
