Burke is a no-mark? You watched much of Forrest?

He is rightly deemed a wonderkid; fantastic ability, fantastic attitude, limitless potential.

How can you claim someone is a no mark and 'always will be' at 19 year old, ffs. :56:

    Sums up Scottish football.

    * *, you seem awfully sure of yourself there, don't you? :smiley-laughing002:

How do you know what he's capable of? You been following his career closely up until this point, aye?

Sofiane Boufal moves to Southampton for £17m.

Considering how much a lot of players are going for down there, seems a good buy.

You wonder why he was never capped at Youth level for Scotland though, only got a few games for the U19s after he'd already made the breakthrough for Forest.

So at U15, 16 and 17 level he was either not thought to be good enough or possibly just injured a lot then.

Unusual that the most expensive Scottish player/teenager wasnt playing for the Scotland youth teams, especially an attacking player a defender or defensive midfielder you could see being overlooked as their technique might not be great.

How many times did KT play for the lower age groups at Scotland? Or Andy Robertson?

Well Tierney was only capped once at U18 and four times at U19. I know what you're saying about defensive players maybe being overlooked but just shows you, two of the most talented youngsters from Scotland in the same situation regarding the national team.

Tell you what, if Tierney, Burke and Gauld all realise their potential...the national team might just be pretty good in the future.

Unusual but it obviously means little.

Jack Harper for example, a player me and you have discussed before, is capped right the way through, rated highly.

Now look at him. Struggling to live up to the hype at Brighton.

He's probably the opposite though, he actually isnt very good and probably shouldnt have been capped but was capped as he played for Real Madrid.

These seem like good players who arent getting capped for some reason, theres something not right.

Probably something mental like that aye.

He is a good player but not that good. Can't blame him for chasing the money half his career.

I mean he was being paid about £200k a week to play in Saudi Arabia against amateurs. Scored something like 90 goals in 80 games:smiley-laughing002:

Alcacer from Valencia joining Barcelona, passed a medical. Never even heard about that, decent signing for Barca as they were still light up front.

    Ter Stegen
    Roberto Pique Umtiti Alba
    Busquets
    Rakitic Iniesta
    Messi Suarez Neymar

    Cillessen
    Vidal Mascherano Mathieu Digne
    Rafinha Suarez
    Gomes Turan Munir
    Alcacer

    Strong squad now.

Just a bitter attitude towards the money being spent tbh. That RB Leipzig are just a team that can throw money about, they fact they've taken a highly rated young Scottish talent on for big money is hopefully only going to do good things for him and in turn our national team.

    Who gives a *.

Camacho will be a good signing for West Brom.

RB Leipzig are funded by Redbull remember, they spend a tonne of money and they pay big wages.

Was reading online from a RB L fan that the tactic used by the owners is to try and scout Europe for the biggest and best young talent, pay them massive wages to entice them to come and hope they turn out to be the next best thing.

Seems this is the case here too. I've never heard of the boy but the Notts fans' seem to be gutted he's leaving. Tottenham fans are bewildered why they never finalised a deal for him too.

Future looks naw bad for Scotland.
