    £30m is the basic fee for the big teams now it's disgusting.

    Sadio Manè for £36m is the standout for me this season, he's done nothing of note whether he's a good player or not.

    Is it really though? How many other good goal scorers are it there available?

    He'll do well domestically and I believe most CL games. He has a tendency to bottle it in the big games but I'd give him the benefit of the doubt.

    He's not that big of a risk. He's a proven goalscorer in Serie A, has no issues with language or cultural barriers, and is a proven commodity.

    He's probably the safest bet for them out there.

    £30 million for Milik. He failed in Germany, albeit I know he was young. His record at Ajax is good but it's not outstanding. Especially considering how many * players have scored for fun in that league.

    And when you take into account Milik is quite a limited player, a decent scorer with a nice shot and cross but he's quite slow, he doesn't really have any link up play and he's not a target man.

    How someone can scout him and think of spending £30million on him i've not got a clue.

    It would be like someone bidding £15million for Leigh Griffiths.

    Milik would be a utterly * signing for Napoli for that price, he's scored goals in the Eredivisie but so have many other players who have gone on to be *. He wasn't all that impressive at the Euros, and wasn't brilliant against us.

    They should be going for someone that has been proven to score in the Serie A, Icardi is the obvious choice but he could be too pricey for them. Eder (Italian one) or Nikola Kalinic would be good signings, probably not too expensive but can do a job for them.
