No you are not. But if you stand up and shout "you dirty black *******" then yeah you will likely be arrested. In the same way that if you boo a protestant or catholic you wont be arrested. If you shout "you dirty */orange *******" then yeah you are likely to be arrested.

But singing "B** J*** K***" isn't really singing about sexual preference directly.

Who makes the call that it is "offensive"?

Because it offends me more than wading in my * blood ever did!!!

The SNP, the police, and the media must be rubbing there hand together with smiles bursting from there fat faces because the bill is dividing our support in two. Would love to see the efforts they make to arrest and video the so called Blue Order who ive heard booming out King billys on the wall at recent games. Not that it offends me i just take it on the chin. But back to point this bill is rediculous and is going to turn football into a police run fear fest!

    Exactly.
I think we are getting ahead of ourselves, thinking all we will be able to do is sit on our hands.
When the huns got banned from sing TFS, and their up to their knees crap, they were all forecasting the same things that we are now (this is the end for us).
Do they seem to sit silent now ? Not to me they don't. They gave up those 2 and were left alone.
This IMO is an evening up deal, they lost a couple so we have to annaw.
But to cut out it going further than that, we have to cut out the * for tats with each other. I always thought this snidey Emails would come to no good, Not saying that they were the sole cause of this, but I'll bet they have not helped. When people get thousands of complaints from large groups like us and the huns, they tend to have some reaction.
I honestly don't think the polis want to wade in and arrest hundreds every week, or that Celtic want to ban that many either.
If we lay low with the obvious RA chants, I'll bet that will be the end of it.

But then it * it up and leaves it down to the interpretation of 1 person.

Just gives police a legitimate reason to left any single person they want.

Pointless bill. Pointless. There are rules and laws already in place that don't get carried out.
Waste of time and money this. Poos show from the government

I tip my hat to you, gunt. You are a great ambassador for reason and commonsense.

This bill will no doubt have it's fair share of opposition by members of our support. It's up to people like you and I, gunt, to dispel the negativity towards the bill.

A lot of people's minds are sort of locked into a certain stance on the issue, to the point where they won't even entertain a proper discussion on the subject. Sure, they'll participate in a conversation, but before you know it you're hit with "It's political correctness gone mad!" kinda comments, when if you think about it, it really isn't.

I am sometimes astonished by some of the posters on here, astonished by how stubbornly they reject this bill and the idea that there are certain songs they shouldn't sing. If you are one of these people, PLEASE explain to me how it is justified to sing songs about a group of murderers at football matches. DON'T tell me they aren't murderers, because they murdered people. DON'T tell me, "hurr durrr other clubs' supporters sing bad songs too", because that doesn't justify anything and is the kind of retort you'd hear from a 8 year old. If any of you who are against the bill can tell me why its OK to sing songs about murderers at football games, then I will change my point of view. I won't be holding my breath on that though.

As expected nothing more than a token document. If they really think an 8 page PDF is going to stop people singing offensive chants at football grounds or that it gives the proper powers to those policing these games then their heads are up their *.

Also, just to add, the day you can't call an orange * an orange * is the day I stop going to football matches. I'll sit in the house and call an orange * an orange * instead. Is that what these people want? The national league of our national sport to die?

Most people I know, or at least associate with, go to football games to enjoy the spectacle of a football game. If you can "call an orange * an orange *" in the house, why did you ever go to a football game to do it in the first place?

Your nothing more than an SNP propaganda merchant.. The SNP could have made a law that requires all celtic fans to wear gags at every football match they attend and you would have supported it... I can't take a thing you have to say on this subject seriously as you will not under any circumstances criticise the SNP.

I personally only have any problem with the rare references to the PIRA. I like a lot of the IRA hymn sheet. I don't join in with the IRA parts though, it's just not my battle, though I very much sympathise.

Do you know what I mean?

You mean the Celtic Symphony, written by the Wolfe Tones with Celtic Football Club commisioning and paying them to film a video within Celtic Park?
