Gordon is a great goalie but I've never known a goalie to be so injury prone.

Big Forster is getting better constantly and is still very young for a keeper so I think we should deffo try and get the big man permanently. If Zaluska is going to leave at the end of the season I'd go for Kello from Hearts as no.2.

i say lets throw caution to the wind. i wasn't a fan of Forster before this season. now the £2m fee to make his move permanent is looking like a great piece of business. first and foremost, i'd rather he be our number one next season over Gordon.

having said that, i would really want us to put in a contract offer for Gordon. he is on a Bosman and i can't see anyone offering more than £10k a week for his services and i can't see anyone in the EPL going near due to his injuries.

i would like us to offer him £7.5k a week. if he says no, no problem, we'll keep Zaluska as back up. if he does decide to come, imagine the strength in keepers having Forster and Gordon as one and two.

it's a long shot but there's no harm in offering this kind of deal to Gordon.

yeah i could see Rangers punting McGregor and getting Gordon in. imo Gordon is just as good as McGregor but more injury prone. i'd rather him be our number two or go to the Championship than play for Rangers though.

    Fantastic GK.

I just hope that injuries haven't wrecked his career.

gordon would be on serious money just now , cant see him take a massive drop in wages although no transfer fee could help them offer more .

Exactly. Niether us or them can afford Gordon just now. Can see him leaving for some mid table EPL team.

On the last few years I'd take Forster over Gordon.

Gordon has spent a great deal of time injured, though there is no doubting he is a top 'keeper.

But Forster did very well whilst playing for Norwich, and has carried that on in a Celtic jersey. He continues to improve and would be the smarter investment, as keeping the same guy between the sticks gives us great stability.

If Zaluska does leave we will need a #2 and Kello in my opion would be the better option. Don't get me wrong I like Gordon but with his record of injuries the risk is too much if for any reason FF picked up an injury. We'd be up * creek without a paddle.

Would be great to sign Gordon and Forster, but if Gordon got fit and stayed injury free he'd be number one imo and would be great for Forster to learn from!

Im pretty sure he'll be at the city of Manchester stadium as opposed to the ridiculous idea that he is in an ikea in Edinburgh
