What is ironic about it when they are obviously being sarcastic, but know it will sell anyway, as most * music does. They are having a laugh and making money.

    What do you consider pish?

Even Eminem's worst is better than Lil Wayne's best and Lil Wayne is considered one of the best around... utter bullshit...

Most people you think Eminem is pish are normally Lil Wayne fans and are not worth listening to. Their opinion means * all.

Lil Wayne is loved by the media and a lot of people, but I dont know why.

Anyway you are annoying me, ram it. If you don't even consider Eminem to be good then you are obviously one of these rap fans that claims to only like underground rap, as everything else is *.

To be truthful mate, Pearse has a point about Eminem.

I like underground rap but also like people like DRE who's chronic 2001 is excellent. I do also have some good Eminem songs on my ipod but the * he has done for a good while has been total *.

I DON'T have any Lil Wayne songs in my music collection :50:

I'm not saying his last 3 have been classics. I don't even consider Relapse, Recovery had some good stuff on it though and so did Encore. But all three albums have been during his drug problem stage. Encore he was on drugs, Relapse he was just getting off them. Recovery was his comeback. He still has to be considered one of the greatest, along with Dre. I hate Lil Wayne, I seem to be on a Lil Wayne hate rampage this weekend.

Not to the extent that it was at during Encore. During Infinite, The Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP and The Eminem Show, he may have been on drugs. But at that point it wasn't a problem in his life like it became after The Eminem Show. Recovery was a good album, a huge step up from Encore and Relapse. Can't wait for his next one to shut everyone up. But of course there are some people out there who will never be happy.

You love assuming * don't you
Another argument of yours has fallen flat on its face by assuming I must be a fan of certain artists :smiley-laughing002:
Try comparing artists with the standard of work they have set previously, instead of plucking a random artist out of thin air to compare him with like you did with Lil Wayne
Eminem made a name for himself as a borderline horror core MC with skill, he's turned soft, with boring content, embarrassing collaborations and cringeworthy punch lines
He's also lost his ear for beats, which I'm assuming is down to him trying to still relevant commercially
Your also easily annoyed lad, cheer up, it's just an a stupid rap argument on a message board:shamrock:

    Only just seen this thread.

    Rap music is terrible currently.

Hip Hop is good at the moment.

I was ignoring ASAP Rocky for a while but just got on him and he's not bad actually.

Right * is the difference seriously? I know rap is the art and hip-hop the artform technically but to me it's the same genre really. Just synonyms.
I used to think Rap was like 50 Cent and * & Hip Hop was Beyonce ect though :56:

The guy is 40 years old, the days of his shock lyrics are gone.

I liked some of the beats in Recovery. Relapse and Encore not so much.

From my understanding rap would be the likes of Eazy E. Hip Hop Jay Z.

If age is the issue for his change maybe he should retire as an MC if this is the best he can do creatively. However hes making a lot of money so I don't suggest him to end his pop career
Well the I would consider Recovery his worst in terms of beats, it's hard to find a hip hop beat on it. Whatever we look for in music is obviously miles apart
