    He seems to have a good record and a good bit of pace about him so things look good on those two fronts. Also, he's been the model pro throughout the last couple of months of speculation and just got on with it.

    Reports are Hooper will be unveiled this morning and then whisked off to the Airport with the rest of the team.

    Looks like he's straight into the squad.

    Good News but we need to start selling a few players - Hinkel, McGeady, Brown, Wilson, Crosas, Loovens....and the youngsters should be out on loan - Caddis, Ferry, Sheridan, McGowan, Hutchinson etc...

    I read it first on STV.

    And now BBC have it;

    Scunthorpe United striker Gary Hooper has completed his £2.4m move to Celtic, making him Neil Lennon's sixth signing. Hooper, 22, will join his team-mates at Glasgow Airport on Tuesday morning later than planned as the team fly to Portugal to play Braga on Wednesday.
    Lennon said: "He will be coming later on. There is just a little bit of paperwork we had to smooth over.
    "I don't know about playing but he will be in the squad. I was pleased to get him. He has been on our radar a while."
    <!-- E SF -->And the Celtic manager added: "I think we have a good player on our hands, his record is very good.
    "It's not just goals, he can play a little bit as well and there were a lot of clubs after his signature."

    Heard!

    If I was the manager I would tell the players that I don't want to see that kind of silly numbers on the back. He should wear number 7, 28 or 29.

    And no pink boots! Black, white or at least some colours that match the shirt.

    wow. number 88 ... wonder what the reason is behind that.

    not really a fan of having big numbers on the back. think the biggest one ive seen at celtic is maybe mcgeady 46?

    the numbers good after all its just a number, rather have a number hes comfertable with than one he doesnt want and as for the pink boots im sure they just wear them because they will be recieving more money probably

    All these players that put their birth years on the back of their jersey is going to become confusing in a few years when it gets to 01/ 02 etc.

    welcome aboard Hoops. Sure you'll bag us the goals this season.

    And btw, maybe Lennon said to him about the No.7 and it's importance to some fans and the club. Remember when Camara signed and got the 27 as MON didn't want anymore pressure. Sure it backfired and it was given to our Brazillian flop Juninho, but maybe Lennon either; brining in someone who he thinks can handle No.7, or, jsut simply didn't want Hooper to be under any more pressure than he will be buy wearing the No.7.
