    Väyrynen's 6'3".

Markkanen's almost 6'6". He made Madrid's Champions League squad this season.

First I've heard of him actually but these are players we should be looking at. Strikers that are a goal every other game in leagues on a similar level with our own.

Going after duds like Đurić and hoping for the best is stupid. Surely these guys are more likely to be successful, no? Within our reach as well.

Helenius would be a good idea indeed. Tried and tested against decent opposition, with some european and international football in his bag.

Out of the Finns mentioned here (Sadik, Markkanen, Väyrynen)

    - Berat Sadik is currently the best of the three. He will very likely become Finland's national team's starting striker now that we're hopefully getting a decent manager. If you want quality right now, get Sadik. Don't know if he'll be good in Scotland, there's a bit more space in Switzerland.

    - Tim Väyrynen is still an investment to the future. It's likely that he'll become better than Sadik quite soon, but he needs to play now. Buying him to sit on Celtic' bench would be a bad deal for both parties. Try again in two years maybe.

    - Eero Markkanen is the great question mark. His history is quite crazy, he's said to have started serious football training at 20 years old and shortly after his career has rocketed. Quickly from the Finnish 4th division to the top flight, scored a hat trick in one of his first games. Loaned to Finnished champions HJK. Then quickly sold to Swedish giants AIK. No one thought he could get game time there, but suddenly the season began and he was their best forward, scoring lots of crazy goals and dominating the league. And then the crazy thing happened and he was sold to Real Madrid. One of the strangest career trajectories so far I've ever heard of. His time in Castilla was bad because he was injured.

As for Celtic, I think he'd be a very good signing for you guys. Lots of room to improve (sky's the limit really evey though he's "already" 23, considered old by some). Loan from Real Madrid with buyout clause would be a great idea.

Guess we could do a lot worse than Janko, see he's a freebie and still maintained that good scoring record.

Not very mobile, but can score goals, as he proved at the weekend.

I like Felix but he did play in almost 30 games this season so it is unlikely he would want to leave

Sobiech would be decent too. Not sure how much Hamburg would want for him though, he had a decent season on loan at St Pauli which will undoubtedly push his value up.

HSV might even want to keep Sobiech though, considering how bad their defense was last season...

Hi I am new to the site I watched a young player for Denmark at the weekend called Yussuf Poulsen and he was brilliant very quick on the wing and through the middle of the park and also defended very well to. He plays for RB Leipzig and is twenty one years of age and looks a great prospect he would be the ideal type of player for Celtic. He reminded me of a young Henrik Larrson has any of our supporters seen him play and do you think he could do a job for the Tic. Cheers.

A 6'4 winger, don't often see that! Has a very good scoring record as well.

    Welcome to the site.:50:

Just seen this on facebook, probably * but
Celtic are reportedly leading the race to sign Norwich City striker Gary Hooper, a move which could see him return to the club for a second spell.
Despite the Canaries sealing a move back to the Premier League, it is unsure whether the English attacker will stay at the club having endured a disappointing spell in the top flight two seasons ago, when he scored six goals in 32 games.
The Bhoys are among a number of teams interested in signing the 27-year-old, and have the bonus of being able to offer the forward Champions League football next term.
In his previous spell at Parkhead, Hooper scored 82 goals in 108 matches for the Scottish Premiership champions.

I would take him in a heartbeat mate. I think we'd struggle to prize any of their best players away though. They're on a mission to get promoted to the bundesliga and they've got that Red Bull money. They just signed a striker from Bremen for £7m
