Just watching a video of him on youtube, my faviourite player of all time. Absolute joy to watch. Had an incrediable and dribbling ability, espcially for such a big guy. Two footed, fantastic finisher and is one of the greatest player ever. In the elite class with the likes of Pele, Maradona, Messi, both Ronaldo's etc anyway just thought I would post this video, worth a watch if you're currently bored

Unbelievable balance and agility for someone who is 6 foot plus and has a decent build.

Unbelievable footballer and possibly the most technically gifted player of all time.

Id say he had the best touch and ball control of all time, doesn't matter where the ball was around him, he had total control of it and could manipulate the ball with any part of his body with ease. Only player that comes close to him since he retired would be Ibrahimovic. Both them also have that thing where they are really solid on the ball too, you cant even budge them when trying to win the ball, they could hold you off like your da and uncles did to you when you were a wean trying to get the ball off them.

It's cool to overrate a retired footballer, though.

Don't be silly, people have been saying that goal was genius and one of the best ever since it was scored.

I could sit and watch a video of Zidane controlling the ball. The only player I've seen almost caress it the way he did is Berbatov. Pure artistry.

    Yes. Harki scum.

And many in Algeria think so to.

I recall him saying he was Algerian first, French third. Clearly not the case.

    Bump.

Madrid released this tribute to him, since he's the new manager. Plus it gives us all an excuse to watch the maestro - poetry in motion, what a footballer.
