Even worse than when they have been put on sale are those prices, they are a bit higher than I expected and the fans in my opinion deserve better than be charged 40 notes considering how much the CL ones were

I've been to a few Europa games in the last few seasons all over Europe and every time the prices have been Lower than domestic league prices so Celtic are very much out of sync here with pricing structure in regards to the Europa League.

I'd have said 20 or 25 quid each and get as many in as possible would have been the way to go here, this will be nowhere near a sell out at 40 quid general sale prices

Not a chance mate...come back to me the day after if by some slim chance you are right, they were selling tickets until 6 o clock for Anderlecht online and from the ticket office.

Folk moaned about the prices for that, I think even more so for the Europa League this will be the case.

By the way the place was not much more than half full last night despite season ticket sales and any official attendance figures they might have announced, the only people today who questioned this to me this morning were fans who unlike me never went...quite ironic really

Last night was a run of the mill league game in freezing conditions before Christmas, zenit could well be our last European home game this season I say it gets 58,000

Of course you are right about last night nobody would take issue with that...You dont need to convince me to go against Zenit as I will be there but I know 58000 wont be joining me at 40 quid a pop mate for the Europa League...sorry we will have to agree to disagree and nothing else to add than I hope that somehow you are the one calling it right and not me

    I would've envisaged a sell out too.

This will be a two legged knock out European fixture. From memory it was full for the Inter game in Feb 2015, I can only see an attendance figure given in one report online and it's stated as 60,000.

Zenit are NOT Inter....historically that was a big game and was a heap of hype in the lead up to it for obvious reasons

With those prices we'll be doing well to have 50k there.

I'll be amazed if it's a sell out but can't see it.

Price is definitely too dear tho, it's only what £3 cheaper than the champions league tickets were for season ticket holders

With circa 25,000 being on HCTS i'd bet over 50,000 are at this. Yeah we might all moan about the prices but end of the day the majority will pay whatever is asked and accept it.

It is pretty poor given the prices already charged for the champions league and the fact its xmas soon. I dont see a sell out but will still be a good crowd.

I would say £35 is a fair price. The only issue I have is it means non-ST holders will probably have to pay £40. That being said, assuming most season ticket holders go for it very few people will actually pay that.

I hate when Celtic fans turn their nose up at he Europa League and it’s participants. It’s a quality competition with quality sides - at least if you compare it to the SPFL.

Disagree mate. Pricing is a * laugh and I'm not turning my nose up at the EL, delighted we're still in European competition.

Have a look at Everton and Arsenal's prices for EL home games.

    Everton

'Everton has confirmed ticket pricing for its home fixtures in the Europa League group stage.

The tickets for the Blues’ home games against Limassol, Lyon and Atalanta will be priced at £20 for adults, £10 for concessions and £5 for U11s'

Arsenal - Granted their ST prices are through the roof

    Upper Tier

    Centre Upper Back £23.50
    Next to Centre Upper£23.50
Next to Centre Upper Back £20.50
    Wing Upper £20.50
    Wing Upper Back £18
    Corner Upper£20.50
    Goal Upper£22
    Goal Upper Back£18
    Lower Tier
    Centre Lower £17
    Wing Lower£15.50
    Corner Lower£15.50
    Goal Lower £15.50

    Family Enclosure - Lower Tier

    *£15.50
Senior Citizen / Cannon Club £6.50
    Junior Gunner£4.25
