I'm not sure if this is in the right place but didn't we sign a youth player from Chelsea or somebody about a month ago, I'm sure I saw a guy on twitter posting him getting his picture taken at Celtic park but I don't recall seeing any official statement from the club

    Armstrong-Okoflex from Arsenal.

Aye there was never anything official from the club but he definitely signed. Was training with the first team last week.

That's the one aye! Seems strange we never welcomed him officially but I suppose we don't normally with other youth players anyway

CELTIC kicked off the new Reserve League season with an impressive 3-0 victory over Dunfermline Athletic in what was a home game for the Hoops at Cappielow.

Tommy McIntyre’s young side were in control for much of the match and thoroughly deserved the win, which came courtesy of goals from Ewan Henderson, Wallace Duffy and an own goal.

Celtic were on the front foot from kick-off and were taking the game to Dunfermline, with Anthony Ralston causing problems down the right-hand side.

After Calvin Miller hit the crossbar with a powerful shot in the 15 minute, Ralston had a hand in Celtic’s opener. His cross into the box was turned into his own net by Dunfermline defender, Gregor Jordan, and the Hoops were off and running.

In a dominant first-half, Dunfermline’s first real chance didn’t come until 10 minutes before the break, and Tommy McIntyre’s side almost doubled their lead on 40 minutes, but Miller was denied by a good save from the Pars goalkeeper.

The visitors started the second-half intent on trying to grab an equaliser, but Conor Hazard in the Celtic goal saved well from a shot inside the box. And on 56 minutes, Dunfermline found themselves trailing 2-0.

Good work by Miller saw him deliver a pass to Henderson, who curled the ball home beyond the Dunfermline keeper.

And though the Pars came close with a header, the game continued to be a procession of Celtic attacks, with Miller, PJ Cross and Duffy all coming close with chances for a dominant Hoops side.

On 77 minutes, Ralston came close to scoring the goal that his performance deserved, but his shot hit the post and then cleared to safety.

With three minutes of the match remaining, Henderson came close to scoring his second of the game after fashioning a chance inside the box, but his shot went narrowly over.

There was still time for a third Celtic goal in added time when Duffy headed home a Miller corner as Tommy McIntyre’s side got their Reserve League campaign off to a winning start.

Sounds like Ralston and Miller are using their first team experience to good effect.

If they arent going to get much first team football this year they should go on loan to a decent Scots Prem team.

Do they usually put highlights up anywhere after the match?
