FRANK LAMPARD is reportedly eyeing a late swoop for Celtic midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu.
The DR Congo international is free to leave the Hoops, just five months after signing on a two-year deal.
And the Daily Express claim Derby County are ready to offer him a route back down to England.
Mulumbu has huge experience down south after spells with West Brom and Norwich City in the Premier League.
The Rams are pushing for promotion and the 32-year-old could be given more first-team football.
Mulumbu's outstanding form with Kilmarnock last season caught the eye of several clubs across Europe, including Swansea and Bordeaux.
But Brendan Rodgers convinced him to move to Parkhead on the final day of the summer window.
However, he has made just three appearances for the Hoops and last featured as a sub against Leipzig in November.
The Daily Express also report that Steve Clarke is keeping tabs on Mulumbu's situation, with the view to bringing him back to Rugby Park.
