Excellent news, we’ll need him at some stage tomorrow night with no other natural defensivd mid.
Clearly wasn't fit enough or ready enough to come in to a game of that tempo..
If it wasn't us and my nerves shredded I'd of been pishing myself at his comedy show..
I was screaming for him to come on after our goal as well Big man isn't fit, would bring him on as a sub the next two games and bring his fitness up.
Wild game for any player to come on and get up to speed with, he was clearly left scratching his big shiny napper. Was just hoping he'd throw himself infront of everything to see it out.
He came on with the game at 100mph he was always going to struggle especially when he's not fit!
Was screaming for him to come on 10 minutes earlier than he did, well done for not doing that Brendan
I was looking for him after we scored too.
Fully fit he’d have been the correct choice.
Far too much to ask of anyone to be thrown into that game with no prior game time. He was caught in the headlights.
Said it in the match thread, took our starting x11 a good 10mins to get used to their press, never mind coming cold into it after being out for weeks. Felt sorry for him..
Ajer and a change of shape maybe should have been the way to go st that time. But hey ho you need a bit of luck in these games.
I'm not going to judge him much after that. But by * did he have a mare
not even close to being ready for this game, could have been a disaster, thankfully it wasnt
Should have came off for Ajer instead of Forrest
Was dodgy but gave it all when he came on. Love him
Pants were shat
The big man looked hungover
If he would have played (even for the final 10/15mins) in the last couple of games, he'd have been totally different tonight.
He just looked slow, lethargic and off boil. Luckily he wasn't brought on earlier tbh.
When Ajer came on I wouldn’t have been surprised if his number had gone up.
Completely off the pace and could easily have cost us the win.
Shouldn't have came on, he'll.need to get up to pace
Madness, everytime the ball went to him it was like it got stuck under him happened about 5 times and he was only on about 10 minutes.
Kind of hilarious thinking back now him trying to go on and calm things down and being completely swarmed
Two midfields full of young * just going at each other full throttle all night and he comes on trying to hold onto the ball and slow the game down
