    Actor R Lee Ermey has died,the full metal jacket actor was 75

    RIP

    Great movie,one of the best.


    Incidentally,he wasnt suppose to play the Drill instructor for this movie he was an actual marine drill instructor and was on set to help with the actor and his lines,that actor was supposedly a * on set and never turned up much,Kubrik then decided to play R Lee after he stepped in for a day and blew it out the water.....getting an academy award.


    Good actor....sadly missed.

    Didn’t realise he wasn’t an actor. He played that role so well and was instantly hated for being such a *. Sign of a class actor when they can reel you in like that. A first class performance. RIP.
