Good spots mate. Love Gulls, of all types. Cool as * looking birds. My favourite is the Black Headed Gull. They look like cheeky wee *. And, I saw my first Swift of the year today.

I live real rural Ireland so lucky with natures wonders. See bats every night for most of year as they are roosted near by. Had one or three get lost and inside the house, funny as * approaching one that was stuck in a gap between a loft closet, he was giving the vampire fangs and sort of hiss at me as I approached, these weigh nothing, you would not know if it was in your hand, like having a bit of ribbon, no weight.

Not all of nature is a wonder after a while, my field is infested with rabbits, pain in the * shytes as they'll eat or test and kill every fecking plant going, like land piranhas. I personally could not kill one just for the sake but thankfully can rely on nature to control them, not quite sure what has them for lunch but when ever I think I need to do something, something controls the numbers to the point none might be seen for months, likely foxes or a stoat or a mink.
The Irish Hare on the other hand is a rarer wonder and a delight to see. I was mowing in a inward circle fashion a few years ago and the very last small patch unmown, one popped up and ran off like one at the dog track, he must have been laying low for a hour or so until he thought of plan b.
Mad flocks of starlings are a sight, but best of all I love seeing Hawks, Last year had a Peregrine fly into the front window, dazed he shook himself and walked into a bush for cover to recover, amazing to watch him close up and fly away, the power it had to glide what seem effortlessly across the next field. I witnessed one take a small bird out the sky within a few feet of walking back to the house, I never saw the dive but heard what sounded like a whip crack looked back and not 30 feet away a Peregrine was about house height with a small bird in its claws.
Much easier to see and as soul enriching -
If you are ever in the South of Ireland or similar place in Scotland, try and find a near deserted cliff top near where gannets are, their display of fishing would lift your soul, makes even the biggest fireworks display look basic.

I Love going to Bass Rock to see the Gannet colony there. I think it's Europe's biggest Gannet colony. I even love the smell. It's also a great place to see Puffins, Fulmar, Guillemots, Razorbills, and there's even a Peregrine's nest as well. If you're lucky, you might see a Porpiose or a Bottlenose Dolphin on the way to the rock. It's one of nature's greatest place in the world.

Sheep have right to roam free here and lots of deer. The worst bit was someone decided to introduce boar around 15 years ago , and it’s been a * nightmare. Lovely things, but breed like no tomorrow. Need a tank to get from a to b :censored:.

I see them regularly in daylight mate. The ones here have NO fear at all. I stay near Paradise, and can see it from a bedroom window.

Saw my first Blackcap of the year. I've never seen them anywhere near my house, but a male landed on a tree across the road from me for a few seconds before flying off. It was a great spot.
