    Picked up this Leopard Frog Pleco (L134) yesterday. Been waiting over a year for the chance to get one. Very rare. He’s very shy at the minute but seems to be settling in well. Hopefully get some clearer images over the coming while. Trying not to startle him

    Yes the skein is lovely to see. I watched them today forming up into two skeins and flying in different directions.

    its only about 3” and will only get to about 5” max. Some other Plecs can get huge.

    En route through the park to my mid-morning cappuccino with Miss AMR, I saw this big fella and thought of BFL and Cider. Sorry for quality but it was gloomy today and he was quite far away. In second photo, he is clearly listening intently for any Hun singing. :56::56:

    Johnie, it depends. There are usually squirrels in that park and I had seen a hooded crow earlier in the week so I was hopeful today. When meeting Mrs AMR in town, I'd try to bring it as the Lagan is quite near and I know there's a seal about. Most times, I forget. Didn't have it with me on walk to Mass when I saw crows in two consecutive weeks. Brought it the third week and crows were a no show.
