I was getting a bit concerned this year about these wee fellas in the garden. Last year I'd be tripping over them everywhere but I hadn't seen one this summer. I can remember frogs in our garden since I was at primary school, all of 10 years ago. :fear: Then today, this wee fella hopped out in front of me and played a game of "you can't see me" for ages.

Johnie, I did a lot of work in the garden last year trying to make it elderly parent friendly so I probably disturbed a good few. They would be under flagstones or boulders that I was moving. So I built them several log piles and put some rubble piles in a stretch of the garden where nothing or no one could disturb them. There is also a bank of heather which has been in the garden for 50 years and they seem to love it. After last year, I have avoided going near the logs, rubble and heather in case I disturb them and chase them out of the garden. Today's wee fella jumped out of the heather to get to the rubble stretch.

That explains a lot Red,the crows and magpies might have had a feast when they were disturbed.
Sorry about the wagtail pic,i thought it was a picture of a crow you were to take for BFL.:101::50:

I just get a square of toilet roll ,catch em and out the bathroom window to freedom.
This happens almost every morning though...I always wondered how they get in the house.
