Honestly, what do you get out of that abomination?

Haha no way O'Neill, that is a fantastic video! :yeah: You should watch it a few times, it'll grow on you :36: Blame Erik Sean anyway, I'm sure it was him who posted them in the Jukebox thread and got me hooked :86:

Didn't mean for that to come across as dismissing your tastes BTW, I was just genuinely curious.

I mean it's just random screaming and loud noises.

Aye I knew you were only on about that one song. I thought it was random screaming and noise at first too but then I realised it was really beautifully composed, it goes on quite a musical journey. There is method in the madness :50:

    Who are you into?

It's a cracking song. Screaming in Norwegian which I'd imagine will make you all the more baffled. The craftsmanship is top notch, and it's catchy as *.

    Glad to be of service.

I've listened to various Metal here and there and for me it seems like a journey into madness.

I like a bit of Jazz, Blues and Rock. But it's not all kinds of Rock I like.

They do a great cover of An American Trilogy too! Quite unusual for a metal band.

Most of the stuff you hear on the radio is, definitely. But there's plenty of great artists out there doing original and creative stuff.

Taken a renewed interest in The Secret Machines, no longer together and original member Benjamin Curtis died of lymphoma in 2013 but the 2 albums Now Here is Nowhere and Ten Silver Drops are both worth a listen.

Genuinely don't know why more hasn't been made of them commercial wise, I think they're honestly that good. Bare in mind that above performance is a live version!

Only 20 years old from Ireland and there is a market for them.

The first album is rough around the edges, but the second is packed with toe tappers.

Another young band for people to keep tabs on is Scottish band Neon Waltz. They've been about for a bit, but they are definitely a group to follow as new stuff is coming soon from them. They're from the very north of Scotland and travel about the UK and back on their camper van/bus. They always have a Spanish Republican flag from the civil war on their piano.

Another very young Scottish rock/mod band is Dogtooth, think they're 15 or 16 but they only have two recorded songs out right now and they're good. Can find them on Spotify:

I have a lot more unknown bands which are quality, but I'll keep them to myself for now unless you really push for them. :84:
