My dad bought me this in the early 80's blew me away
GnR was not too far behind my other posting in terms of purchase order. Can't tell you how many times my folks threw out this album and I'd keep buying it! LoL

I loved sonic youth went to the Astoria in London to see them live supported by dinasaur junior many many years ago
Cant believe the Blondie song was out 40 years ago.
Left High School following year
They were also the first band I saw live. Was way too young to get into the venue, but snuck in anyway.
Went to see Immortal at Astoria in 1998.
Drove all way from Glasgow to London, went to gig and drove back, and in between fell asleep on motorway ended up in ditch.
Limped home safely.

i can confirm this sort of desperate stuff has no or very little impact on their future music taste tho
