Xbox One X

Anyone purchasing one of these when they come out?

Got a Project Scorpio edition on pre-order but thinking £449 is a bit steep, got a PS4 pro and the Xbox is supposed to be 40% more powerful than that.

Since i upgraded to a 4k tele a few weeks back i have really enjoyed playing my PS4 a lot more. Just something doesnt connect with me with xbox i feel restircted on it with games.

Like PES 2018 I love how you can get the option file, xbox doesnt allow that. But I like the idea of La Noire and Forza 7 on 4k and also the Xbox upscales blu-ray to 4k!

 

Depends on what you play obviously pes is restricted but iirc you can get mods for fallout and skyrim on xbox but not PlayStation

 

@Cena I really only play Fifa, WWE, COD and GTA like games, was looking at NBA 2k18 but not seeing great reviews for it from actual players.

 

Thinking on buying it but will wait and see what folk say when it's out, fact you'll be able to play xbox one games on it is good. It's actually fairly cheap for 4k gaming rig when you compare to PC's but of course with PC's you can always upgrade as you go.

 

If that's the case then it's just down to preference really

 

Probably will give in and buy it as I did with the Xbox one when first out, I lasted about a month from launch before I cracked.

 

I only bought my ps4 pro because my ps4 broke but I am glad I did.

These arent gona match up to what pc's can do but it's feckin close, take rise of the tomb raider like the high framerate mode makes that 100 times better to play on the pro than the normal one.

Interested to see how powerful the X actually is.

4k is great and all on my TV but I'd much rather games at solid 1080p 60 frames than better resolution at the minute.

 

It won't be close to a PC, it's CPU is about same as Intel core i3 and GPU maybe about a gtx 1060, my laptop is more powerful than the xbox one x will be but the fact it's just £450 is actually a great price.

 

I'd rather take a boot to my nuts than buy one. You could have the best graphics in the world but if the console is * then it's *.

 

Decided to eventually do my Xbox1 update over night it's been waiting to do for months.

Went through and had a look this morn and it looked like it was done it had something about watch video or skip so I skipped, screen went black?

Turned off and on it comes up saying signed in then says sighed and screen black again?

Anyone has this?

Was playing fine offline for months?

 

Must be corrupted or something, try a system cache clear.

I’ve had issues on xbox one with getting signed out randomly when playing a game which is a pain the *, end up just having to play offline.

 

Will do mate judt in door gonna quickly attempt before game

Put disc in when it was on the blavnk screen it went to game main menu but no response when I got to try and hit Xbox home button.

Just wouldn't come up with dash at all

 

PUBG is making me want to buy an Xbox

 

Anyone got the new Xbox one X yet? Most of the reviews I’ve seen of it have been fairly good.

 

Aye got the project Scorpio edition (got a stand extra, whoppee) defo a massive upgrade on the PS4 pro.

Waiting on la noire coming tomorrow for it but wwe 2k18, forza 7 and fifa are excellent on it.

 

Eager to hear how people are finding it, the jump I felt when upgrading to Pro was massive!

Had any issues with the disc drive or that? Been digging a bit deeper and there’s a few complaints about issues with blue ray player and disc drive not working, early days so always going to get issues right enough.

Not sure why microsoft only give the 1tb option, * all space really with games that will require upto 100gb.

 

No issues with the disc drive watching a blu-ray the now and it’s fine.

I think because I have the PS4 pro you only notice the difference a small bit but if you go from a standard Xbox you will see the jump it’s huge!

 

I don’t feel the jump as massive from the pro to the X but when I see the kids playing the Xbox one s compares to the X it’s a massive jump
