    Trust me...I know I’m a moany *. It’s not news to me. But you do realise I’m not the only person saying it’s been poor? So it’s not just down to me being a moany *.

    I honestly don’t see what’s been great about this WC. There’s been 4 or 5 entertaining matches, aye...but twice the number of 1-0’s with not a lot going on.

    Hopefully the second round of games will be better. The 1st round tends to be quite cagey.

    I'm no a big fan of VAR but we have been entertained for what is only the second day of the second group game's..

    Almost every day has had a surprise and we've had plenty of goals..

    The last group game's are usually when it heats up with team's going for it tryna qualify..

    Think the knockouts will be brilliant this year..

    1st Round games are always cagey, that’s why Spain v Portugal was such a surprise.. who would have thought the hosts wcould be so good.. it’s shaping up nicely..

    Just look at the games tomorrow...

    Den v Aus
    Fra v Peru
    Arg v Cro

    That’s a fine day of action..

    I quite like VAR to be honest. It’s not perfect but it’s been used a number of times to get to the right decision so far.

    Just going to take time to get used to it I suppose.

    On paper it looks great, agreed.

    Hopefully France sort themselves out. They were really poor against the Aussies.

    Been some good defensive displays. Iran. Mexico. Switzerland...just to name a few..

    Denmark have a decent defence and keeper but Peru absolutely sliced them to ribbons numerous time's. I fancy Peru to trouble France and the Aussies just have that knack and teamwork, graft. Big Tam will get more space as well 100% this time..

    The Argie/Croatia game screams a belter with goals..
