    I'm easy on who wins, if France win, I win the sweepstake in work, so I'm rooting for them, however, I would like Croatia to win as France have already won it.

    I wouldn’t write Croatia off, but I think France will end up being too strong for them. Kante v Modric will be a key battle.

    I actually think it'll be Hernandez vs. Rebić/Perišić. Hernandez seemed insecure with all of his theatrics during the WC.

    It would have been a crime had England went through. Imagine people like Walker, Sterling and McGuire in the World Cup Final. They should be arrested for crimes against football. Awful, Awful players.

    Would like to see Croatia win it but think France will. Thought France would have made the final but expected it to be against Spain or Germany.

    I’m now a fully fledged Croatia fan, moan the Croats.

    Think you have to build in the fact they have grafted like * to get to this point and I think this may be the hurdle too far for them.

    Not really bothered who wins, would like to see a classic memorable final though. Maybe a Modric masterclass or Mbappe getting a hat-trick or a couple of long range goals.

    I think France will win though, they have a good set piece threat, they have pace and a decent mix of creativity, hard working players and pace. They do seem to be unpredictable though, not really a consistent team who always play well they've had a couple of good games and a couple of games where they struggled and looked like they hadn't a clue what they were doing.

    Croatia have thrived in the underdog role, but I think France will be too strong for them. They looked absolutely solid against a quality Belgium side, will be difficult for Hrvatska to break them down.

    Mbappe to steal the show...

    Thinking France but would be hoping Croatia, Modric truly is a class act. Both teams have multiple players who are deserving of a world cup win. Just a massive relief England aren't there, as pointed out above some of the names that would be gracing a world cup final had they made it would be embarrassing. They comfortably would have been the worst team to ever make it.

    The way the competition has worked out I've seen a lot of France & Croatia. France full backs (especially Pavard) have been their two weakest players. Perisic was outstanding after half time in the semi, this could be a key area. Fascinating game. Hopefully flair wins out over any defensive minded approach, both teams have enough about them to hurt the other.
    A 5pm kick off in here sunny Benalmedina, can think of worse ways to spend a Sunday evening.

    I stand by it.
    Since the first time final I watched a final in 1982 the 2002 German & the Argentina 1990 team were possibly the poorest but they both had a player playing superbly well who dragged them to the final Maradona and Kahn. Two all time greats. But both teams also had a bit of quality through it.
    This England team would definatly be comfortably the worst to have ever made a world cup final. In my humble opinion.
