After Belgium's defensive frailties being highlighted against Japan without their rock at the back then he must come straight back into the team.

Otherwise, I'm backing Brazil (to be fair I still think they'll win the whole thing).

 

Boyata ain't playing, of that I'm certain.

In my heart I’ll be rooting for Boyata, but in my pocket will be a bet slip with “*” and “Neymar” written on it.

 

Know what you mean, but I'm not sure that those defensive frailties were not more down to them being cocky and thinking of the next round, forgetting that Japan were a half decent team and anything can happen in a knockout.
On the other hand could be just the kick up their own ar$e needed, was very impressed that Belgium came back as I doubt that some of the over hyped others would have come back. Belgium showed grit and a mentality above their past history to be able to actually go and win a cup.
But then I don't much like Brazil, who were past greats but over hyped current crop of dramatic actors, so I am maybe more wanting Belgium to win.
Do think Belgium will win this one way or another, would not be surprised if this and all these quarters went to extra time and some settled by just a goal in extra time as teams are too tired to fight back. None of these matches are straightforward to pick out a winner.

Think Brazil will win this and win it fairly comfortably. Best team in the tournament and still got another level or two in them.

I think Belgium have a better squad and more tactical options..

But Brazil have a solid look about them in midfield, with the impressive Casimero, Willian and Neymar.. Countered by De Bruyne, Hazard & Lukaku a more effective striker than Jesus (at this time)

Would be a worthy final..

 

Aye this wouldn't look out of place in a final. Same as the winner of this and the likelihood of France..

Fernandinho will come in for Casemiro. Firmino should start before Jesus and Wagner out for Danilo..

Douglas Costa to come back as well..

So much depth and solid in every department..

I want Brazil to win because I think they're better to watch.

I don't know why Japan played the corner in the last game, I guess they thought superior opposition would beat them in extra time so they just went for it.

Anyway, Belgium have never excited me but for sure they have the players to do it. So hopefully they turn up and we see the game of the tournament so far.
