The hosts for the 2026 tournament will be announced tomorrow. It’s a joint bid of the U.S, Canada and Mexico vs Morocco. Knowing FIFA, we can look forward to the opening game in June 2026 in Casablanca.

A world cup spread over three countries, especially countries that big, sounds seriously *.

This may very well be the last World Cup that is held in 1 Country, they are becoming less and less feasible as time goes on.

Euro 2020 is only the tip of the iceberg, it'll become the norm moving forward.

If they kept teams in an area for their group games it wouldn’t be so bad.
But I remember USA 94 and teams having to go from New York to Dallas over 1500 miles - that’s a full day lost from training just spent travelling.
Imagine if it was Vancouver to Mexico City.
    Stupid idea.

If it was two smaller countries joint hosting then fine but not 3 massive ones.

That’s quite sad but I can understand why that could be the case.
