I don’t think he will be but honestly I wouldn’t even mind if he went.

If we manage to get our * together, win the next 2 trophy’s and actually compete against Valencia my outlook on him would change. But things have gone a wee bit stale for me

I have a feeling he is going to leave. Based on nothing but my gut and a few signs I've been picking up off him. Just don't think everything is rosy.

If in the next 9 days the board do not back him and give him at least 1 CB and RB of quality not a development then he will definitely be off. Yes he has made mistakes in the transfer market but what do we expect at times with the budget he has been given. You do not win back to back trebles with luck. This board, particularly Lawell, ambitions for the Club do not seem to match Brendans. We could and should be way ahead of everybody else, instead we are left pondering if the Manager will be here next season and what defensive players we will have.

Have a feeling he may leave ,
But why through away the chance to be up there with Jock etc if he hangs about and achieves 10 he will go down in the History books and surely being a Celtic man that has got to be in the back of his mind SURELY

While his domestic achievements in his first two seasons were absolutely sensational, the fact he has turned what should have been a procession into a title race, even if it is, hopefully, only fleeting, means I can't worry about it until the summer.
He must know himself that if he blows the ten he will be sacked and his stock at an all-time low, so I expect him to turn it around.
This season has been a fiasco though, the board can't be blamed in entirety. His tactics, signings and arrogance are responsible. His past here is fantastic, his present is poor.

Think with this whole defence stuff and loans seems to suggest he's for the off.

If he does go, I'd be happy enough with Clarke, although Jokanovic and maybe a bit out of our price range now, Bilic.

If you listen to Charlie Nicholas then the manager will be off, but if he does go then the question will be who wants to take the job where your directive is to improve inexperienced players so the board can sell them on for a big sum and then start the cycle again while the CEO takes a £2mill bonus and doesn't think that not getting you the players you identify is a problem

Apparently it’s a years notice either side when he was on the rolling deal dunno about the fixed deal. Someone said he gave his notice in August in the work but as usual a ITK * who knows * all!

The new lad has Own Coyle Signed Me written all over him. Brendan's just the middle man holding the reigns for now.

Worst case scenario he loses the league.. where would he go?

There is pressure at Celtic but also realism.

The big 10 has to be a massive motivating factor. BR grew up knowing Celtic's history and the legends at the club. Stein & McNeil will be in his thoughts.

Win 10IAR and he understands what it means. How many other managers in football would fully grasp the enormity?

Plenty would understand the reasoning & some of the implications but Brendan gets it all.. he is a fan / supporter and he has the chance to become a central part of our clubs history... Back to back trebles has already given him a place but hopefully he wants more

Football can throw up the unexpected.. let's just enjoy it while it lasts

I think he'll be off regardless of whether we win another treble or whatever.

Dont see why he would go....

    What really are the negatives
1)Frustrated with the board - like that wont happen at every club he goes to.
2)Wants a bigger budget - again who wouldn't, but unless he is signed by an incoming oligarchy it aint gonna happen

    Yet on the positives side
1)He loves the club, gets the history
2)The payers seem on-baord with him
3)He has (in my opinion) the majority of the fans
4)He can make himslef a legend
5)Even if another team makes a fist of a competition, he should Win (something if not everything) annualy

    Am I missing something....
