Got to agree I thought izzy was awful tonight. Gordon was outstanding and how we have missed the leadership of Broony.

 

It isn't a moan. It's a view on the game.
Look, we got a great draw, no question, but Craig made at least 3 brilliant saves - one was a double. If it wasn't for him Iit would have been 5-2, so yes, great result. However, for me we lack cohesion. We don't play with a calmness. We are frantic. Take Efe. Tonight, in the 2nd half, having got caught so many times in the first, he was playing CM and then in Centre of defense. Outcome? Huge spaces on right. Ronnie does nothing about it. Forget Lenny, any Manager would have been bollocking Efe from the touchline but nnot Ronny. Same goes for Izzy and same goes for lack of support for Scepovic. The one time we give him support and Wakaso scores.
Lastly we were 2-1 up and we bring on Stokes for Scepovic. Can understand that if we were going to stretch them but we didn't. We should have tightened Iit up in DM and who knows. But hey, I'll take the draw.

If you take a striker off and bring on a DM the opposition no your shutting up shop and begin to get confidence from that, what Ronny did was a like for like change ffs its not like he took Virgil off for Stokes

 

watched the first half an some of it was not good , went out to pick up the wife an go to vote so didn't see the second half but if you ask am I happy with the result .... YES for the second time today !!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a good result alright. But dont let the result blind you from seeing how we really played. Our passing and movement was awful. Ambrose was awful, again. Izzy was poor i'm afraid. Commons was poor. Mc gregor did nothing but fall over looking for free kicks, sorry he did one thing that led to a goal, so i will give him that. Scepovic got no service but almost scored an audacious goal, too soon to judge him. Virgil and Denayer looked good in defence. Wakaso was the most pleasing thing of the night, great debut and looks to have plenty of heart. Gordon was MOTM. If it hadnt been for his saves we would have lost 5 goals to an average team. On another night if we keep playing like that we will get a hammering. Great result but i fear we are still papering over the cracks and i think thats why people are moaning.

Aye, I think he is. Along with Commons and Stokes, which is strange to me but hey ho.

On another note, how just * good was Izzy's ball to Commons in the box? Commons should have took a touch, he'd be comfortable volleying that on his left but not his right.

 

A draw was a great result tonight IMO said it in the match thread before the game we would be lucky to get a draw.

Thought we played well at times and still looked dodgey at the back over all I'm happy with result tonight since we never lost.

 

Stokes is * that's how. But agree Commons and Izzy get a bit a unwanted slack that times.
