Don't cry, its okay to admit it - denying it to yourself wont change the day to day reality of the Clubs signing policy.

This is the thing, I'm * * myself at the thought of who the board would replace Ronny with, don't want any of the names that are regularly mentioned on here.

I think it would be pointless to get rid of him right now. If we were going to do it, it would have already been done, probably months ago.

It's easy to point the finger at the manager after a defeat like today, but it is yet another match where the pressure is on us to perform where we've failed to do so. Mitigating circumstances with the sending off and the foul on Gordon for their second, however.

Poor result, onto the next game.

    Three times*

But obviously he deserves the 4th chance to get into the Champions League because hes failed three times before, thats where we are at. Failure gives you another chance.

You shouldn't be too quick to dismiss people with one flippant remark.

Clarke took Reading to their first FA Cup Semi in 88 years.

Fulham were interested in making him manager. The job was his for the taking, but he remained loyal to Reading, only to be sacked by Reading for his loyalty to the club.

Steve Clarke has an excellent CV.Clarke has coached at Liverpool, Newcastle, West Ham and Chelsea. He has served his managerial apprenticeship at West Brom and Reading and is reputed to be a great man manager. He is known to be a Celtic man.

He is not under contract so we would not have to pay an expensive severance payment. He is available.
He has the wealth of experience and know how to give Celtic the quick fix they desperately need in a short period of time.

Who rejected the job due to restrictions that were to be put on him as manager - safely assuming signing policy.

Doubt after we have proved his reasons for rejecting us, he would then come to our 'aide'

Ronny won't and shouldn't resign because of today's result and he won't get sacked..

So all debate in this thread is pointless..

this is the truth, I wish it wasn't but it is.

The only way that Deila doesn't get another shot at the CL is if he doesn't win the league, and that is about as impossible a situation as you can get in football.

The board made up their minds after the Europa and decided to stick with him.

I think it's pretty widely accepted that Steve Clarke was harshly dealt with at both WBA and Reading.

He'd be one of my first choices though I'm liking the look of Stubbs particularly tactically.

If he goes I'm expecting John Hughes or Collins.

You've got guys down south like Rodgers or Gary Monk. Aitar Karanka at Middlesborough or further afield, Vincenza Montella who's out of a job and did really well at Fiorentina or Rudi Garcia who did a great job with Roma.
