I'd take Gary Neville in a heartbeat in fairness. That's a good shout.

Infinitely better option than Ryan Giggs.

I wouldn't want Neville just now, he didn't exactly do well at Valencia.

These suggestions are getting worse. If we end up with another diddy and make an * of winning the league, be prepared for a massive slump in st sales. They can't afford to take any risks this time.

Moyes- not won a thing and stock at all time low. * football to boot.

Rodgers- not won a thing and probably just another fly by manager who had a half decent campaign one time.

Lennon is the only option. Done it before had bumps along the way but always came back stronger. Has baggage and might not be in it for long haul. Had spells of amazing football, but also spells of mind numbing pass a long the back line (same thing the new team are being praised for surprisingly)

I'd still take Rodgers out of that list. His football he played is good.

Once it's confirmed we can't afford him lennon will come back home.

Rodgers is the ideal choice for me. His teams play excellent football and at swansea brought through some cracking young players. Not to mention to took liverpool to second place which nobody thought they could do!

Our probably right mate, thing is he is well though of for a reason. Hence why we wont be the team to convince him.Strachan is another shout. Wont be pretty but we will punch above our weight at least.

Perhaps, so would the majority of names mentioned though. Still doesn't mean I would take any of them in a heartbeat though. Gary Neville might well have taken Valencia down had he remained in the job. As far as management disasters go, he was right up there.

    not exactly
"Liverpool ended the league season in second place with 101 goals scored, the club's most since the 1895–96 season and the third-highest in Premier League history.[59] Later that month Rodgers was awarded the LMA Manager of The Year Award becoming the first Liverpool manager to win the prestigious accolade in its 20-year history"

Moyes has won that manager of the year award 3 times as well.

Rodgers or Moyes would be a significant step up from Lennon. Think he needs to find another job, with less financial restrictions than he had at Bolton and prove himself again.

Aye, would be my first choice as well. Moyes would be a good appointment though.

I would say as much as I would love to see it, the chances of Rodgers coming here are remote at the very best. He will have plenty of options and just cant see him here. Moyes is a tricky one I have a feeling with the right offer he would take it but will we give him the right offer? Im still stuck on Neil Lennon to be honest, knows the players and would be a seamless transition. We have champions league qualifiers coming very quickly so he would be a major plus in that regard.
