I'll probably get shot down for saying this but I wouldn't want this to happen. At least not until Larsson has some managerial success at another club.

I know Neil Lennon had never been a first team manager before he got the job but what makes the difference for me there is the character/personality of the two individuals. Neil Lennon is a fiery, lively character. You can imagine that he would be really good at team talks and man management. Larsson, * bless the man, comes across as lacking charisma. I love the guy to death but his voice is so monotone it almost sends me to sleep. I have a hard time picturing him giving the players a blood stirring teamtalk that leads us to overturn a 2-0 deficit away from home. He just doesn't come across as that kind of character to me.

Mind you, if Avram Grant can be a manager then I suppose anyone can. He's the most boring man I've ever seen. :smiley-laughing002:

I would also hate it if Larsson was to come here as manager and fail. It would leave some negative memories attached to him and I would never ever want that. At the moment the only memories I have of Henrik are happy ones and I still miss him badly 10 years after he left the club. I think we all do. Maybe it's best to just leave it that way. For the moment at least.

Lennon is going nowhere and when he does , it won't be Larsson who replaces him . Larsson hasn't yet shown any worthwhile ability as Manager .

McNamara has a steep learning curve to navigate before he will get anywhere near the Celtic job.

I agree that's why I would wait another year, I feel he would be better than Henrik at that time as he is a good manager and knows the Scottish league

Exactly my thoughts if or when Lennon leaves i'd like us to go 4-3-3 like Swansea/Barca/Basle and lose the 4-4-2 'British' mentality we've always used, especially in Europe. It may turn out to be a disaster but i would love to see us try it.

If anything I want him to take Mjallbys job first so he can get some better experience then move up to a managerial role

That would be ideal. Henke in as first team coach with a view to taking over eventually.

Him and Lenny would need to have some similar ideas or else it might not work though.

I have my doubts as to whether The King would want to not be his own man though, could be a stumbling block.

I really wouldn't want him as the boss just yet, Lenny might have had less experience when he took over, but we had nothing tangible to go on before he took the job. If Lenny took the job under the same conditions as Henrik I wouldn't be happy, if that makes any sense.

Don't think Lenny is going anywhere, but it would be cool if Larsson came in! Lack of experience worries me but Celtic would be a good starting point for him.
