Hopkin leaves Livingston the day the Madrid job becomes available? No coincidence

Not sure where he goes from here, not many top jobs going - but it'll make this thread a lot more interesting :giggle1:

I reckon Deschamps will either resign or get sacked when France inevitably underperform at the World Cup. Zidane will replace him.

Seen Wenger is fav, dunno what I think about that.. Not sure where they go for here, to be honest.

Imagine the fans would want someone like Klopp over the likes of Wenger, Pochettino, Simione or Low. Don't know if that's viable though, Klopp seems the loyal type.

    Good shout.
Doubt Klopp would go there tbh, you're right he comes across as loyal & committed plus he loves the passion of Liverpool and their fans.

Not a chance real will go for Simeone (don't think they deal with Atleti) could go for Wenger to improve the style of play but if they want to win a league title he's not exactly the guy you want. Pochettino I think will go there.

Simeone wouldn't go near them. Him and Atletico are a match made in heaven and it's clear that he loves the club.

Can't believe Wenger is one of the favourites. He's absolutely done as a manager at that level.

Pochettino just signed a new deal with spurs too, I can’t see him going anywhere especially with the new stadium being ready.

I think it could be conte, zidane potentially going the other way? Although France after the WC seems more likely.

With the chance of Bale and Ronaldo leaving in the summer, he’s thought * this it’s all downhill from here. Let’s jump ship.

Getting out while on a high leaves the door open later on in his career when he has more experience.

I still don’t know what to make of him as a manager. I think he was just lucky and inherited a great team. I’m not sure what players he signed at Madrid, but don’t think any of them started in the last three finals (could be wrong). Two of which he named the same starting line up!

I guess only time will tell if he’s really any good.

He’s seen Bale and Ronaldo leaving, knows Neymar isn’t coming for another year. Barca are signing Greizmann, which guarantees them the league next year so he’s got the * outta dodge.
Wonder where he goes from here, always thought his next club would be Juve. Pochettino for Madrid ? I know he signed a contract, but let’s be honest though that doesn’t mean much really.

With the players they have that would be the perfect job for him. Imagine the scenes when he goes on to win the Euro's and World Cup then retires about age 50 after having won every Champions League, Euros and World Cup he managed in :56:

If Real want Pochettino (which they should) they'll get him.

    What about Jardim at Monaco..

Bit left field but brought through a host of top talent. Beat a financially oil backed PSG to the league a year ago and had some top results in Europe before being raided..

    Plays attacking football..

Came in here to post something similar. I wouldn’t be shocked to see him go there. Only thing is Real Madrid tend not to do things on the ‘cheap’.

True. No many big one's available though..

Think he'd do well at a lot of club's. Done a good job at Monaco..
