Bhoys and Ghirls, I start this because Gambling Addiction is a very serious problem and I thought this would maybe be a place where those who have an addiction or feel they might be heading down that road can offer support and advice , who knows....it might be a godsend to someone.

Good luck to anyone who has a problem with their gambling, heart goes out to you all, whether you are currently in a downward spiral, heading that way....or are a recovering addict.:shamrock:

I know how destructive it can be, a friend of mine lost her house and her marriage over her husbands addiction.

    Respect.

I occasionally take a few weeks off now and then and go off it for Lent too, mainly just to prove to myself that I can. Only then do you realise how gambling is being rammed down your throat 24/7 on TV, radio, social media, newspapers and even just talking among mates and work colleagues.

My own motto is only bet what you can afford to lose.

It can be good fun if you don't get sucked in
