I'm not sure Vertie. Do they actually want him to play ? I suppose if he plays and scores a couple that would do them no harm in terms of flogging him, however you would have to say he is far more likely to get sent off which does them no good at all. Is it the first two games after the split he misses? From our point of view I think Lafferty is the one of their forwards I would least like to face. Not because I think he is particularly good but he is more likely to unsettle our defence and potentially get someone sent off.

    Good point. :giggle1:

It should be the first two games after the split that he misses, aye.

Lafferty has a knack of scoring goals against us, too. Morelos has gone over 10 hours without scoring against us, I'm sure.

True, I wouldn't be surprised if they don't play him again this season. If they play him they risk him getting sent off which means nocunt will buy him and they need money for signings.

Yes we would be 19 clear with only 18points for them to play for.

Just a guess, however I think we will be going to Ibrox on the 28th.

The safety of the Celtic support would be a real concern if we were to win it at Ibrox.

Hun game will be the 3rd or 4th game after the split.

either one makes sure that we do not win it against them, the 4th game is a safety option to make sure we aren't going to them the week after winning it.

The SFA probably are likely to make our game against them the third game after the split, but then again it might not even be necessary. They’ll be missing Morelos for the next 4 games, Halliday for the next one and probably Kent for a few too after their exploits on Sunday. Even if they could keep their heads and stay in the team I could see Motherwell n Hearts giving them a humbling. Happy days :60:

Hearts will get a 0-0 draw or a 1-0 win at the *-hole.

The scum and their stinking, scummy, cowardly supporters know they are *.

Defoe is taking the *, getting a top salary and doing as a little as possible. Morelos by his conduct is lowering his price to a point where he is definitely worth a punt by eg Leicester ?

    I'm not picky.
Plus if anything were to happen no doubt the idiotic * would blame us for "provoking them" by winning the title at Poundland and would want Scott Brown to be banned for next season.

That would be my guess as well. First round of fixtures will be on Easter weekend so doubt it'll be the 21st even if the league is wrapped up before the split. Likewise, Sunday the 5th is followed by a bank holiday so that'll probably be ruled out as well. 4th game is usually a midweeker then obviously we'll be at home on the last day to pick up number 8.

If the League is wrapped up before the split, why wouldn't they make it the 21st?

They could/still might, but with plenty of people being on day 3 of a 4 day bender the coppers will probably want to avoid it.

Ah right, fair enough. I wasn’t making that connection.

I’m sure we’ve played them on a Bank Holiday Monday Sunday recently right enough.
