The dog has started to * in the house, the old guy can't get out to go to the toilet at night. The only alternative at the moment is to leave him in the garage with the door left ajar. However, the fireworks is scaring him and it's starting to get cold out.

I have bought some mats for him to * on but he is being a little * and * in other places and it is a really bad smell. The only idea I can think of is to put him in the conservatory and lock him in a cage or dog pen.

Does anyone have an other ideas?

Do you use a collar or harness to walk your dog? Been discussing with a colleague today, and he claims he was told that harnesses are bad for a dog's shoulders. But I can't find anything about it online.
