Any idea which kind?
Probably a Bulldog.
Love big giant dogs as well but doubt I’d get one for my first.
Hope you like slavers if you get a bulldog.
Cheers pal,yes i kept Jasmine's ashes,i originally thought i would scatter them at her favourite spot, but instead i have kept them in a lovely Casket on my mantlepeice with a few of her things. It is a fitting tribute to her,i will never forget her,now i am very close to Ruby Boxer. The way i look at it if Ruby could live another 12 years i would happily go with her and we join Jasmine buried together.
You are spot on to plan ahead, and it really is a shame that Dogs do not live longer, the quality and love they give us,they should average atleast 20,but such is life.
My step daughters dog who we look after quite a lot
That’s a brilliant photo.
It was taken about 200 metres from my step daughters home and 1 mile from mine
She's 2 year old called Skye.
Speyed a few weeks ago and that's first time back out on the beach
She is a lovely Dog with a cool name
My wee dug has got arthritis in her back legs, she is on tablets and painkillers just now. But if she is suffering then it’s that decision time which will break my heart.
Sorry to hear that.
Yes really sorry to hear that, how old is your wee Dug?
She is 11 now mate, as said it will break my heart but no chance am I having her suffering. I will give it the next few weeks see how she gets on with the medication and painkillers. And thanks for asking.
Yes it is horrible when our Dugs get ill and you are doing the right thing. And a very important thing is she knows how much you love her and that matters so much.
She is still running about like when she was younger, but when standing still her back legs are shaking badly. As I said she’s not going to suffer as she’s my other daughter and has has a good life, but I will be lost without her.
I really feel for you,i was devastated when i lost my Boxer Jasmine in March 2017.But Jasmine knew how much i loved her and your wee Dug knows how much you love her,the love we have for our Dugs is priceless and so precious.
You cannot do more for your Dug than what you are doing good pal, keep us updated on here, there is thankfully a whole army of Dog lovers on this cool Forum.
Will do thanks again.
My dog has had arthritis for about 5 years now. What medication have they gave you ? Metacam or similar ? Try green lipped mussel capsules and glucosamine as well as the medication from the vets.
