Got bit on the * by a Rottweiler when I was about 9 or 10, was a sneak attack an the * was well prepared and enjoyed it as well :smiley-laughing002:

Been * scared of them ever since but used to have a white alsation that was as good as gold, but a bit highly strung which is supposedly a well known trait with that particular sub-breed. Don't see many of them nowadays think smaller dogs have taken over which is a shame cause they are great dogs especially for young lads.

mogrel from the rescue centre named keira, 9years old now and has been a cracking faithful wee terrier (mix) over the years, would never part with her now even though she is slowing down a bit.

as I have pointed out in my house, if I threw the wife and the dog in the boot of the car and drove about for 10 hours solid, when I opened the boot one of them would still be glad to see me.

    unconditional love, thanks keira.

    you'll never walk alone
Dont have the time for a dog just now, but really miss having one around. Had them all my life growing up and folks always had at least one on the go up until a few years ago.

    Always a Lab. Fantastic dogs.

If i had unlimited time and space, id absolutely love to have about 6 of them, but i do have an incredible urge to get an Alsatian. Used to be * scared of them growing up, but they are fantastic dogs if treated right.

Family dog is a German Short-haired Pointer called Zac. Only dog I've ever had. Couldn't recommend the breed highly enough to anyone. Needs a power of walking but you'll have an intelligent, loyal, playful companion. Absolutely stunning creatures as well.

He's 12 now. Deaf as a post and slowing up a bit but still chasing deer. Will try to dig out a picture.

My mum is a baw hair away from convincing my dad to get one for them both(typical as ill be moving out soon, been wanting one since I was a wean)

Just wondering what people's experiences are with them as a breed. I've heard good things.

It must be the German in him chasing they deer. I have 3 German SHeperds and one of them in particular keeps chasing the deer when they come near my bit. The deer are too fast for him. But is a pain in the * having to go down the field and bring him back. He is a wee *!
