This isn't all down to just Lennon. The club as a whole need to get the * finger out!

The financial power and budget we have absolutely dwarfs everyone else in the league, including Sevco. We are at a massive, massive advantage before a ball is kicked. Is winning a league where we're 1/4-odds on before a ball is kicked really enough if everything else is poor?

In history he would be a legend but failure to win cups or European qualifications among the way will bring criticism and pressure on the way.

I get what you’re saying. In normal circumstances you are correct. But the pressure to get 10 will be huge now.

Totally agree, can't expect to beat Barca and PSG but the pumpings are not acceptable

2 league titles to get us to the 10 in a row and he'll go down as a legend, he already is but by taking this job again and then failing to get the 10 i think would see his legend status disappear

thats some balls to take that challenge on

    no one likes pumpings

but if we had a young team and we learned from a pumping off a great team by improving greatly then i would find it a lesson worth learning, however we never seemed to learn lessons from the pumpings under rodgers

i wouldnt like us to play anti football infact i would feel that we may as well chuck it if we went down that road

so id like neil to try and play expansively as we can, we were poor width wise at the weekend and im not sure why that was tbh, wed have murdered them if we had played to our strengths im quite sure, maybe it was just tension because of the imporatance of the game

the way your portos benficas ajaxs anderlechts play they never go out accepting they are inferior and play anti football although their leagues are better and therfore they have to play some top football to beat teams, where as we often only need to play at 50% to beat teams domestically

I think whoever we appoint there will always be pumpings from the likes of them now mate. The game has changed massively the past few years, the rich are richer and the poor are further behind than they’ve ever been.

Very rare to see a shock scoreline in the CL now.

10iar is the obvious target. That is simply non-negiotable.

Would be good purely on a financial standpoint to get straight back into CL proper. But when has that ever meant we had more to spend on players?.

Thing is Lennon needs proper backing to change things up, I mean he won't do it, but I'd have Kennedy and Duff gone from backroom staff for a start.

With a bit of clever thinking midfield and strikers are OK but our defense needs a massive injection of quality. I mean a proper decent and reliable back up LB could revitalise KT and a proper RB that is as close to KT as we can affordabley buy could change our entire play.

I'm nervous purely for the fact I worry the board will see Lennon as a safe option who won't require a lot of money and we'll be lucky to spend £6mill on players regardless of who's sold.

If we make the CL group stage then winning 9 would be enough for me.

I would be looking to give players like Dembele, Johnston, Henderson game time in the League Cup especially.

We need to give the lads a chance cause I don't want to see another Robertson in a CL Final saying I'd swap it all for a League Cup with Celtic.
