Awrite folks-Sons wanting a new bike for his 10th bday and thinking of getting myself one so I can go out with him. Last got a new bike 20yrs ago; a mountain bike but its *, rusted to * and weighs a f`ing ton- was thinking of getting a hybrid bike? They say there fine for roads and semi off road which will do me fine.

Anyways budget for mine of £200 - any of you do any biking and has anyone got any recommendations or things to avoid?

    Cheers

Get a bike based on what feels comfortable when you sit on it, along with what you'll use it for. A hybrid bike should suit your needs no bother.

Would go for a hybrid if he is just cycling about streets and not thinking of hitting any rad jumps
